Short Description of Activity
Judith Lopez did a monitoring visit to the Adobe Badlands WSA. In the main parking area there was no new trash but a bag of broken glass was picked up(6 [pounds). In the area south of the parking lot three bags full of trash were retrieved(29 pounds). In addition pictures were taken of a big wooden box that had been left at the site. It was too large to be removed. The new BLM staff in charge of this area,
Tatyana Sukharnikova ,Outdoor Recreation Planner, was sent an email with a picture of what needed to be removed. She said it would be taken care of.
Reflection/Evaluation
Adobe Badlands WSA is being monitored and cleaned of trash. Over all it is much better than it was initially.
