Bi-monthly meeting with our County Commissioners
Reflection/Evaluation
Commissioners were deciding whether to prioritize the Wildlife Inventory for the County due to decreases in mule deer population and concerns regarding Eagles. There was public testimony, I gave written testimony. This has been on the back burner as a priority for 2 years. The Commissioners did vote to prioritize it. A second issue was the continued development issues with Thornburg Resort which has been on hold, hearing officer denied their continuation but they have appealed. We have weighed in with both written and verbal comments on this issue. One commissioner believed due to the history of all the appeals that have happened this needed to go back to the Land Use Board, two commissioners disagreed and opened up to have hearings on the appeals (again). We will continue to be involved.
