Reflection/Evaluation
This 10-mile hike attracted a record number of people: 20. And the experience generated at least one renewal from a lapsed member and one new member. A new member signed up to attend the Broadwalk at Dry Falls in Washington in April. Although it was very cold, everyone loved the hike. The shuttle was easier this year than last year since I left it up to individuals to make their own arrangements. I still was involved with a few people who didn’t know others but it was much simpler for me. The shuttle arrangements added to the preplanning time as well as many conversations about the route.
