Short Description of Activity
Two meetings with local County Commissioners who have not been very forthcoming when it comes to wildlife corridors and environmental issues over all.
Reflection/Evaluation
First meeting was for the commissioners to approve moving forward with continuation of ODFW mapping mule deer and other wild life corridors. This has not been a priority for the past two years but there was much support in the room and they moved forward.
Second meeting had to do with local Thornburg Resort requesting more development and approval to get water for their gold courses and more houses. Initially hearings officer denied their appeal, but now the Commissioners are deciding to hear this case themselves. I have given testimony on both of these issues. It is a very heated topic locally.
