Short Description of Activity
Public hearing regarding various ways to create fish passage on the Mirror Pond on the Deschutes River.
Reflection/Evaluation
Local committee working on fish passage issue, along with a facilitator and engineering company gave presentation regarding various choices for creating fish passage. The biggest issue is a nonfunctioning dam that all agree needs to go away, but Pacific Corp. is holding tight. Lots of discussion and debate. This issue has been going on for decades.
