Ongoing discussion regarding the 100 year plan of where the next solid waste landfill will be located.
Reflection/Evaluation
Due to FAA guidelines of no landfills within a 5 mile radius of an airport, 3 sites have been dropped from the total of 13 being considered for location of landfill. This is much to the relief of many rural residents who were concerned regarding wildlife protection.
