Regular meeting that meets several times a month.
Reflection/Evaluation
Overview of wins to date regarding allotments not doing commercial logging. Lots of information regarding protection of Old growth, mature trees in Western Oregon as well as Eastern Oregon – the concerns are across the state. Did mention biomass and the jury is still out on this issue. Forest Service is supposed to doing forest inventory but at this point are waiting for direction from the top.
