Short Description of Activity
Adam Bronstein, Patrick Kelly and Laura ________, educated the GOBW on the tragedy of the state of Federal Public Lands that are allowed rampant and unmonitored cattle grazing. Ideas about how to help mitigate these outdated and very poorly managed practices by the BLM and cattle ranches were discussed.
Reflection/Evaluation
Great Webinar! We all lament the state of the ecosystems devastated by cattle grazing, at the taxpayers expense, but no one on the outside of the issue knows how to mitigate this damage, and advocate most effectively for change. Now we at Southern Nevada Blue Diamond Broads have an open opportunity to jump in there and make a difference. I hope to follow up with Lisa and Adam Bronstein, of the Western Watershed Project in Nevada and Oregon, and begin to make a difference.
