biweekly meeting of this nationwide group working to stop logging of mature and old-growth forest
Reflection/Evaluation
Member from Vermont presented a photo and issue where a forest is going to log up to half of a beautiful 32,000 acres. There will be a new petition to the Biden Adm. this time they want up to 500k signatures last one there were 100K plus that I signed. They are working towards Earth Day. It was almost a year ago that the Biden Adm issued an executive order to count the old-growth forest but the Adm and Secy of Agr. did not state logging as an issue. The call also had links to what they call kits to do whatever locally. Like Tom and I did the logging letters and outings and don’t’ need one of their PR kits.
