Short Description of Activity
In partnership with Wyoming Wilderness Assn, we set up a Go Fund Me account to raise $750 for three trail cameras to monitor snowmobile incursions into the Jedediah Smith Wilderness Area.
Reflection/Evaluation
After including the link in our weekly email, we raised the money required in two hours. This winter is lasting so long that the cameras will be in use this spring. We’re always looking for ways to partner with our USFS District. We also used this meeting to plan some hikes with a ranger this summer, and to discuss our annual solitude monitoring assignments.
