Reflection/Evaluation
Participation in this 10-year project has provided opportunities to modify proposed GMUG NF timber management activities to benefit wildlife, watersheds, and protected areas. The latest modification accepted by the Forest Leadership Team was utilizing new technology to harvest on steep slopes (40-60 percent) on a single pilot project only – rather than Forest-wide.
