Short Description of Activity
Our Borderlands team leader reached out to NM Congressman Vasquez regarding sign-on to “dear colleague” letter (initiated by Congressman Grijalva) addressing FY24 Support Rescission of Border Wall Funds and Transfer of Funds from DHS to DOI and USFS, to remediate damages. The letter was posted on the Congressman’s contact page. In addition she sent other members of the borderlands committee a summary of the situation, the deadline, and a copy of the message submitted.
Reflection/Evaluation
Good. We do not know what the results at this point are, however, or if more of our borderlands team submitted similar letters.
