Short Description of Activity
Met with flood control and environmental education managers for this neglected wetland. Learned about recent flood control activities (past 10 years), and identified challenges the county has in continuing management and oversight.
Reflection/Evaluation
Identified 7 potential projects that the Tucson Broadband could take on. Summarized findings and have had several follow up emails to further refine the scope and priority of each project. Considering 2 projects to start in late 2023, with additional 2-3 projects in early 2024.
