Short Description of Activity
Trying to build a coalition to get a CO Green Amendment on the ballot in 2024 to insure our rights to clean air, water, and lands for All Coloradoans for generations to come.
Reflection/Evaluation
Kate Grayson attended from Southwest CO Group Sierra Club and provided a boost by offering to contact Sarah Sneed formerly in charge of Beyond Coal Campaign. Judith offered to contact CIRCA to seek 30 coalition partners to help get a Green Amendment initiative on the ballot. I emailed my question about a possible change to Senator Hickenlooper’s objection of the Green Amendment in 2014 (tho there were enough signatures to make it on the ballot) to Senator Hickenlooper and attended his Town Hall in hope of a response. He couldn’t get to everyone’s questions and promised individual responses, which I did not receive yet. Our next book club Zoom is May 12th at 9AM.
