Reflection/Evaluation
Reports from our partners, looking at new legislative issues, the Air Force fly over issue, potential National Monument status for the Owyhee area if Wyden’s bill doesn’t go thru. Also reviewed concerns with McDermitt mine issue. Oregon Wild is working on the Mature, Old Growth Forest issues, along with the River Democracy Act. Land Watch – Mule Deer Inventory along with concerns regarding solar farm locations. Reviewed up coming Broadchats, Hikes and stewardship projects. The County 2040 Comprehensive plan along with upcoming Rewilding conference which we are a sponsor.
