Short Description of Activity
Three Sonoran BB members attended. We met with our State Legislators in Legislative District Teams, to discuss environmental issues of concern to us. Roz was Team Leader for her legislative district. We also had a Great Old Broads for Wilderness table on the State Capitol grounds during the event and the three of us managed to keep it covered between our legislative meetings.
Reflection/Evaluation
Due to recent redistricting many of our legislators were new to us. It was necessary to meet and establish a relationship so future e-mails and calls would have a face to them. Unlike last year, Roz was able to meet with all three of her legislators, discussing an ecological water bill. Emily also met with her legislators discussing adequate water supply.
