We set up a booth at the Lincoln Park event. Advocated for protection of public lands, the use of native plants in yards, and ways that people could support biodiversity and wildlife.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was a great day ! We talked with a large number of people , gave away all of the GOBfW materials we brought to the event, signed up 24 people to be on our email list, and gave away most of the other printed information we brought well as a basket of free seeds to be planted in yards. It is also aways good to see and reconnect with people who are no longer active in our group and to learn what issues they are working on now.
Organizing for this event is always challenging, but definitely worth the effort.!
