3/7 – Earth Ethics with Scott Russell Sanders – Planet wide ecology – 1 hour
3/8 – Writing Wild – Delia Owens – Where the Crawdads Sing and a Sand County Almanac.Importance of nature writing. – 1 hour
3/9 – Robin Wall Kimmerer – Reciprocal Restoration – Healing Damage inflicted on the land. Integration of indigenous knowledge in restoration. – 1 hour
3/10 – Learning to live a Land Ethic with four 2022 Leopold Fellows. – 1 hour
Reflection/Evaluation
Listening to the poetry and the stories of the four Leopold Fellows was especially inspirational. However, all of the presentations were interesting and gave me ideas for renewing my commitment to advocating for the environment and the wild things that live on it.
