Short Description of Activity
I attended two meetings of the LSRD BRAT during this reporting period. I also attended a two-hour presentation by Jim Waddell to the Clallam County PUD on Feb. 21. I also formed a subcommittee of two Broads and me to investigate whether or not our PUB’s paid for ads by the Northwest River Partners to argue against dam removal. A lawyer came to a meeting of our LSrD BRAT and suggested this strategy.
Reflection/Evaluation
After filing reports to four local PUD’s, we received expense information and found that none of the PUD’s had supported the Northwest River Partners financially, so this turned out to be an unsuccessful strategy.. However, we have continued to write letters and sign petitions to Biden asking him to issue and Executive Order to remove the four Lower Snake River Dams. .
