Short Description of Activity
Had a hike and dinner with new Alaska Soles member Claire Sharp and two of her friends who were interested in the Great Old Broads, Angelica and Christie.
Reflection/Evaluation
We had wonderful discussions about their lives, their futures, their concerns for the country and the ecosystems. WE discussed the proposed Willow development, our successes to date re Pebble Mine and the Tongass Roadless Rule, climate change in general, methane gas threats etc. They are all very interesting and passionate women and it was great to get different perspectives and interests. We hope to see them at our social gathering this spring/early summer. I really regret that I didn’t take any pictures!!
