Short Description of Activity
Following the Biden administration designation of the Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument in October 2022, the CORE Act coalition turned their attention to the administrative (20-year) mineral withdrawal of Thompson Divide. This advocacy involved a webinar, comment writing workshop (Jan 10) plus coalition meetings and calls with partners and Broads national office staff.
Reflection/Evaluation
Though our BB “jurisdiction” does not include Thompson Divide, we had three members take an interest in this advocacy initiative.
