Short Description of Activity
Met with Lisa Rutherford who is part of the Clean the Darn Air coalition in Utah to discuss possible Great Old Broads’ involvement with their lobbying efforts.
Reflection/Evaluation
This was a meeting to find out more about what this group is doing and if it is a fit for the Great Old Broads to get involved with. They were looking for folks to help get signatures on a petition for a ballot measure to tax gas and use the funds for reducing carbon emissions.
Given all of the other priorities we can get involved with, I don’t believe we should get involved with this. I will let my group know about the petition and give them links for more information.
