Short Description of Activity
Barbara Vasquez, Diane Brower, Diane Miller, Rodger Steen (WCA) met via Zoom with John McDonagh who is a retired senior counsel representing the US gov’t on oil and gas drilling on Alaska’s North Slope. John is now an activist working to get local municipalities in Larimer County to adopt stricter oil and gas regulations and he shared with us some strategies as well as sample regulations.
Reflection/Evaluation
We learned a lot and were inspired to try to get Routt County to adopt stricter oil and gas regs. We have continued to meet since.
