Short Description of Activity
The Tucson Broadband partnered with the Pima County Master Naturalists and hosted a bat-viewing event at the Rillito River bridge in Tucson. The Mexican Free-Tailed bats have several roosts in southern Arizona, this location is one of the most populous in the state. Education and use of a bat echometer were part of the event. The Master Naturalists provided 3 Bat Ambassadors who have been trained by Bat Conservation International as well as the echometer.
