Short Description of Activity
Genia Moncada and I met over Zoom to answer some of her questions and provide her support for doing advocacy in Washington State.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to provide her with the resources she needs, answer her questions, and provide her support for issues in Washington state. She was very interested in doing field checking on DNR lands and so I sent her the link to purchase a diameter tape as well as the field checking form that Cascadia Wildlands uses. I also sent her information on the Sentinel Trail in Centralia and the contact person who trained us in field checking. Since she also indicated interest in the Trust Land Transfer bill that just passed and signed by Gov Inslee, I sent her the link to register for the upcoming webinar to learn the process for nominating parcels of land to transfer to land trusts on June 27. We had a good chat for an hour and I mostly just listened while she talked. They are doing a great job in Polly Dyer BB and planning a campout, hikes, and other great events. I hope that I was helpful to her. I sent her everything she requested but have not received any confirmation of her receiving it.
