Short Description of Activity
6 Broads joined the Zoom discussion of How to Do Nothing; Resisting the Attention Economy by Jenny Odell. Some had not finished reading the book this time. The responses to it were varied and Di admitted that listening to it as an Audible selection driving to and from Denver was not an excellent idea after all. She is borrowing the hard copy to read the last couple of chapters which finally pulled the rest of the book together in a meaningful way (from her perspective)
Reflection/Evaluation
Always love seeing and hearing ideas of those who join us. This time we had a very young woman who signed up at Earth Day tabling and got our Broads Views and News. She just wanted to see what we were about and this was an easy Zoom. She had a 4 year old son who was VERY interested in seeing the faces of the old women on the Zoom and kept putting his face up close to her iPad? Really was adorable.
