Short Description of Activity

Echo Basin, hike into a stunning wildflower filled basin containing hanging meadows rich in flower diversity and abundance. Highlight also is a small grove of huge ancient Alaska Yellow Cedar trees,
Leader – Scott has expertise in natural history and a background in Oregon ecology, especially botany, with some 42 years of outdoor and science education teaching all ages. Scott has previewed every hike.

Reflection/Evaluation

Learned about wildflowers diversity and abundance. Highlight was a small grove of huge ancient ALASKA Yellow cedars
