Short Description of Activity

Janet Barth and I tabled at the Bridgeport 4th of July and spent most of the day there. JB is a Broad. Another Janet, Janet Carle, who is also another Broad stopped by. Other Janet is a long-time advocate for Mono Lake and very much involved in the effort to save Mono Lake. JB is the Broad who would like us to help support the Amargosa Basin National Monument and has been instrumental in the 30×30 campaign, and has spent a lifetime walking the walk and advocating for conservation and environmentalism.

Reflection/Evaluation

The goal was to get out in front of the public and we chose a venue that is typically not very environmentally leaning. I felt it was successful in that we did talk one-on-one with many people and weren’t heckled. We gave out stickers. No one signed up for more info about Broads; even though, some people asked what it was.
