Short Description of Activity
A weekend gathering of groups working to protect the federally listed Grizzly Bear.
Reflection/Evaluation
Objective was to share information on the status of the Grizzly Bear and ongoing efforts in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho to de-list the bears.
Made made contacts with folks passionate about bears, including long time bear expert and advocate, Louisa Willcox, who encouraged us all to write a story about any experience we might have had with grizzly bears. I wrote about bear #104, who was an iconic North Fork of the Shoshone River (Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming) in the 1990s.
