Called members to chat and get to know them over the phone
Reflection/Evaluation
I was able to speak with 5 members. Learned that several where in their late 70’s and early 80’s and enjoyed getting our mails on the issues, and could meet in the park for socializing. Willing to write letters or make phone calls. one younger member wants us to put our information on the internet Community Calendar in Moscow and Pullman. All willing to attend special events however, physical activities limited.
Maybe it would be beneficial for us to know the age/birthdate of our members to better focus in on events that they can participate. I felt awkward asking their age on the phone. Would like to send out Birthday greetings.
