Short Description of Activity
We had a party on the patio by the Dolores River and then a book talk by Dr Andrew Gulliford about his Bears Ears book. We had a banner listing all of our projects and received lots of new volunteer interest. Dr. Gulliford volunteered for Mancos Canyon Restoration and to help us with Bluff, UT expansion.
Reflection/Evaluation
We had a grand celebration. Cake and fun by the river, then an inspiring book talk about the environmental history of Bears Ears. Really happy about the volunteer interest. Gave out 10 business cards offering free 1 year memberships. No response yet.
