Short Description of Activity
Gave testimony to County Commissioners regarding changing county code to be in line with state statute regarding no additional destination resorts in the county. Statute states that once a county reaches a population higher than 100,00 that no more resorts can be developed.
Reflection/Evaluation
We have three county commissioners and most decisions get made with a 2 to 1 vote. Today one of the commissioners who generally votes opposite of what we would want voted for the code change – unfortunately she once again changed her vote when it came to a second reading. She consistently does this and I sent email to all the commissioners commenting on this.
