Short Description of Activity
Aldo’s Silver City Broadband co-leaders met with Western Watersheds Tucson staff member via phone. We discussed our livestock monitoring within the Gila National Forest (GNF). We also reviewed other things our broadband focuses on, and what Western Watersheds focuses on, including the Southwest. We hope to meet in person sometime.
Reflection/Evaluation
Conversation went well. We discussed how we could reach out and share information with each other or collaborate in other ways. She can share comments that she is drafting, when they relate to issues we are also commenting on/ advocating for. She also sent a map of areas within GNF that she is particularly focusing on regarding cattle grazing, in case we got out to those areas.
