Short Description of Activity
Sallie attended 11 hours of webinars and meetings and spend4 hours reading the plan. She promoted the need for comments to NSJBB Leadership Team and to general membership. 4 Leadership Team members sent in individual comments – 3 asking Colorado senators to support the Rule; 3 LT members sent in individual comments; and the Broadband submitted a letter referencing grazing issues in the Public Lands Rule. The efforts of the NSJBB grazing group to develop the comment content will be reported by another BB member in a separate Activity Report.
Reflection/Evaluation
This was/is an important land management issue. It was great that LT members stepped up to comment. Also involvement and leadership of Broads National was also crucial.
Good that we submitted as a BB on grazing issues, as these very specific issues need to be transmitted to BLM.
It is unknown how many other BB members submitted individual comments.
