Short Description of Activity
Sallie Thoreson of the Leadership Team monitored this issue and kept LT and members apprised of issues and opportunities to comment. She attended webinars and read up on the Rule and the issues. As part of a Sierra Club activity, Sallie submitted a personal comment on the Rulemaking using the Narrative Arc process (I am / we are _____.,I/we value ____ and are working toward ____., Right now _____., But _____ stands in the way., We can _____ to get what we want-Call to action.) The BB also signed on to a Southern Rockies Conservation Alliance letter advocating to FS for more attention to Fens in the Rulemaking.

Reflection/Evaluation
It was helpful to have leadership of National Broads on promoting and focusing this work. It was great to have other partners (Climate Forests, Sierra Club, SRCA) to provide opportunities to comment.
I appreciated learning about the Narrative Arc procedure for writing comments.
We don’t know if others BB members sent in individual comments.
