Short Description of Activity
Preparation work on 8/30/23. On 8/31/23 met Wayne Quade, trainee, at Confluence Park Collected filtered and non-filtered samples for assessment of metals at Denver Lab of River Watch. Collected sample for determination of Oxygenation level. Collected sample for conducting all other protocols back in home lab for pH, alkalinity, and hardness. Conducted all protocols. Demonstrated for Wayne submission of data on RW website. Made copies of all data forms for submission with next month’s sampling. Requested needed chemicals for continued testing from Bradley Boileu of RW.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is to provide consistent monitoring and reliable data to River Watch for better decision making from officials responsible for decisions related to the well being of the river. This goal is being met as monitoring is regular and accuracy is assured by the quality control mechanisms of RW.
