Short Description of Activity
Combined a slide/video presentation on the history and current management of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge by Lisa Eckert, Leadership Team member, with a Broadband meeting to discuss BLM’s Proposed Rule for Onshore Oil and Gas Leasing and Supplemental EIS for the Grand Junction and Colorado River Valley RMP’s.
Reflection/Evaluation
Introduce interested members of the public and Broadband (15 attendees) to the history and management challenges of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. Discuss issues related to the BLM’s proposed Onshore Oil and Gas Rule and SEIS for Grand junction and Colorado River Valley RMP’s. Members will provide personal knowledge of new proposed Areas of Environmental Concern.
