Short Description of Activity
Attended the annual meeting of WCA and spoke to several people about public lands issues, attended Sen. Hickenlooper Town Hall meeting and was so glad to hear him describe the ways that he and other Senators were working together on issues, I appreciated his openness to concerns and honest responses. Attended a WCA-Mesa county meeting and heard very little about public lands concerns. Attended Roundtable and heard several people from the BLM field off report on activities and concerns. Russel Knight who is a BLM wildlife biologist asked for our support in helping our members understand the reasons for seasonal closures and the impact of winter large animals. Attended the Aug. GOBfW meeting. .
Reflection/Evaluation
I felt attending all these meetings was valuable both to me personally and as a way to gaining information to share with other members of our Broadband. .
