Short Description of Activity
Emailed Gov. Dunleavy asking that he vacate his lawsuit regarding the EPA denial of the Pebble Mine permit.
Reflection/Evaluation
Despite widespread statewide agreement that the Pebble Mine is the wrong mine in the wrong place, and extremely threatens the clean waters, air, fisheries and wildlife of Bristol Bay, Gov. Dunleavy launched a lawsuit questioning the EPA denial of a permit for the mine. I copied the email to Senator Murkowski, Sen. Sullivan and Rep. Pertola, all of whom have (at times) come out against this proposed mine.
