Outcome 1: Trail/land monitored (2 sites/plots)

Short Description of Activity

To date, 32 WHALES members have been trained for solitude monitoring. WHALES will continue to monitor 6 trails in the Jedediah Smith Wilderness into October.

Reflection/Evaluation

Response from the WHALES exceeded expectations, and all seem to be happy to help the Forest Service manage the wilderness in our own back yards.
