Short Description of Activity
Planning meeting with Katie Stuart to assess a possible campout in Shelburne NH in August. Hiked, explored, talked, planned how, who, when and what we could put together for education, stewardship, advocacy and fun. We talked geology and went to the museum in Bethel Me as a part of our planning.
Reflection/Evaluation
We decided we could do it. There was enough of an impact for education, advocacy and fun. The Clean Water Act had made a powerful and lasting impact but needed to be maintained and monitored. Getting our chapter to this wild part of the state was important for embedding the nature of our work in our hearts and minds., together.
