Short Description of Activity
Linda, Barb and June attended Ridgefield WA Bird Fest, a community event that celebrates the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge along with Bluegrass’s music and a farmers’ market. The Cascade Volcanoes were unable to get a tabling spot, so Linda, Barb and June walked around the event distributing pamphlets and engaging people/women about the organization, specifically the broadband of Cascade Volcanoes. Afterwards we took a 1.5 hike in the Wildlife Refuge.
Reflection/Evaluation
It was a good alternative to tabling getting good responses and interest from people we engaged with.
