Short Description of Activity

When hiking with my dogs, I remove tumbleweed plants and trash wherever they are found on my journeys. Today I picked up 2 different samples of coyote scat and will plant them to see what the obvious undigested seeds will yield. About 500 penstemon seeds were gathered and about 500 were scatted in areas in the desert for next year’s growth.

Reflection/Evaluation

I got several pictures of desert natives in full bloom after our second round of summer rain last month.
