Measurable Outcomes
Outcome 1: Clean-up (6 parcels)
Outcome 2: Wildlife monitored (2 Other)
Short Description of Activity
6 of the Great Old Broads met at Freeway Lakes, in Linn County, near Albany, Oregon. We removed harmful trash: food containers, bottles, cans, and fishing line. We saw at least 2 green heron, a great blue heron, several duck species, and evidence of beaver activity. We also noted dramatic overgrowth of invasive ludwigia on the 1st lake.
Reflection/Evaluation
Goal was met. Trash removed. Wildlife seen. No drownings. We all worked together, and enjoyed one another.
