Short Description of Activity
The presentation will discuss Oregon’s incredible native carnivore species and how we can lend our voices to important causes impacting our black bears, cougars, and coyotes. Current wildlife management policies in Oregon are woefully outdated and inhumane, but there are opportunities to engage with our legislators and agencies to make life better for our wild neighbors. We will also discuss how we can best responsibly share our trails with central Oregon’s returning gray wolves.
Reflection/Evaluation
Yes we learned about protection efforts sponsored by the national humane society wildlife program.
