Wrote letters of support to end the killing contests on public lands.

Reflection/Evaluation

Since this report is late being entered, the win is that killing contests on public lands is no longer allowed or supported on public lands in Oregon. There will be those in Eastern Oregon who will continue this brutal practice as that is where the majority of these activities happen. They do not realize how they are making the issues they are concerned about worse with this practice. The question to ask is what will enforcement look like in Eastern Oregon. The other issue is that it is still okay on private lands so I wonder to what efforts will those who like this practice will go to scare, chase or lur coyotes onto private lands to continue this practice.
