Webinar on the issues with the impacts that dams have on more things than just fish.
Reflection/Evaluation
Great presentation by Advocates for the West and Steve Hawley. Covered not only concerns about Salmon, but ecosystems for the Indigenous people, sedimentation problems, the issue of franchises for electricity and the infrastructure concerns that continues to be supported by the Federal government. Biggest take away is that to deal with the issues of dams is to pay attention when FERC renewals come up and why these dams should not continue.
