Short Description of Activity

Our meeting was to discuss trails and the importance of how they are managed and planned.

Reflection/Evaluation

Chara presented a short presentation explaining visually why trail placement is so important for wild animal habitat and migration. Stephanie followed up with how terribly complex the situation is with all the various users and stakeholders. Recreation, agriculture, hunting, wildlife, watershed…….She discussed how SJMA is aiming to get funding within the SCORE initiative through the state. very complicated but I think we all walked away with a beter understanding of our forest and how to enjoy it while protecting the ecosystem and the wildlife that depend on it.
