Short Description of Activity
A weekly email is sent to our members to organize outdoor recreational activities, alert members to comment period deadlines, websites for management plans, links to significant environmental issues that affect our region. We also inform members of ways they can become involved in the community, by volunteering with other nonprofit organizations in Teton Valley. Activity reports are tracked throughout the month and filed at the end of the month.
Reflection/Evaluation
We are still getting out for our weekly hikes (more like walks now that snow has fallen in our hiking areas), and remain active as community volunteers. Biking is on hold until the spring. The weekly email is an important tool to organize our gatherings and inform members about local/regional conservation issues.
