Short Description of Activity

Planting trees to enhance native habitat and improve the water quality of Gibbons Creek at the Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge.
There were 40 volunteers split up into 2 areas. Twelve Broads participated in this activity.

Reflection/Evaluation

We lucked out having a dry and sunny day to do the planting. A nice blend of both Portland and Washington Broads. A lot of hard work was accomplished. A very fun day. Tree planting is a great group stewardship activity.
